I'm Dr Anke van Zyl, a General Practitioner and the Founder and Medical Director of Lumiya Health. My mission is simple: to be a doctor who truly sees you, listens to you, and walks alongside you on your health journey. I believe that healthcare is not just about medicine and what is written in a medical file - it's about trust, connection, and meeting people exactly where they are.
I have a particular passion for women's health, male sexual health, aesthetic medicine, and emergency care, and I approach care with a focus on the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Feeling confident, comfortable, and at ease in your own body is an important part of wellbeing, and care should always be personalised, respectful, and holistic.
Through Lumiya Health, I aim to create a space where medicine is both evidence-based and human - where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to take ownership of your health.
